Payment

What are the available payment options?

You can purchase our merchandise via various platform. Across the platforms, we accept the following payment option: Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal, Bank Transfer, Cash on Collection, Nets, Cash Installment and Credit Card Installment (OCBC & DBS)

Is there any fee or surcharge for the payment?

There are no fees or surcharges for standard payment options. Administrative fee might be chargeable for certain products via cash installment.

How does cash installment work for Hoolah?

For Hoolah cash installment, the payments are split into 4 payments; initial downpayment plus 3 installment payments. Ensure the first downpayment amount is in your bank and Hoolah will automatically deduct from your bank for the downpayment amount, plus the remaining 3 installment payments. The deduction of 3 installment is every 2 calendar week interval, a total of 6 weeks for the 3 installment payments. Zero interest as Kernel Scooter will absorb. However, if there is any refund initiated, you will need to bear a termination and admin fee of 10% of the total cart value.

How to refund?

In order to refund, you will need to fulfill our terms and conditions for refunding. Under the condition of refunding, the relevant parties that handles your transaction will be responsible for the refund. Refund duration varies on different payment option, some may require longer working days. Surcharges may apply to refund, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Shipping

What are the available shipping options?

The default shipping for non-registered mails are Singpost. For registered mails, default shippers are Qxpress. Tracking number will be provided upon requests.

What if the parcel is lost?

For non-registered mails, lost parcels are not insured, therefore it there will be no claims available. For registered mails, lost parcel can be claimed from the relevant shipper. If it's verified that they are responsible for the loss, they will compensate equivalent monetary value back to you. The default shipping option is registered mail, unless stated otherwise.

What if the parcel is damaged?

For damaged parcels, you will need to provide sufficient evidence to claim from the relevant shipper. They will be responsible to do the necessary compensation. For electric scooters, components such as rotor disc are very rigid and hence it could misaligned due to mishandling, in such situation, there will be no claims as it's not fully damaged. You will need to bring the scooter down and we will offer free tuning and alignment and hence we encourage purchase of scooters to be collected at our store to avoid any unnecessary issues that may arise from deliveries.

Do you ship overseas?

We only do domestic shipping within Singapore. For overseas shipping, you will need to arrange your own courier and we will assist you to liaise with your assigned courier.

Terms & Conditions

Product Terms and Conditions

All product comes with warranty, covering users from manufacturing defects. No additional costs would be imposed on customers for products under warranty period. Individual and standalone components or parts may have shorter warranty period because it is not a product as a whole. Warranty does not cover defect(s) or damage(s) from daily usages, wear and tear, lack of maintenance or negligence, and from incidents & accidents. Defects and damages includes water damage (i.e. improper storage or cleaning methods, rain and water splashes), tampering, modification and external damages from physical impacts. Consumable and degradable components are excluded from warranty coverage, such as tires, inner tubes, screws/nuts/threading, wires, connectors, LED bulbs, handle-grips, seat, mudguards, bearings, brake calipers and brake pads. Kernel Scooter will not be liable for any transportation costs involved. This includes returning the scooter for repair, services and exchange. Under no circumstances should Kernel Scooter bear any transportation costs involved. While we ensure all products sent for delivery are at it's best condition, parcels may be damaged during delivery and we shall not be responsible for any damage of the product if there is any. We strongly encourage all customers to do self-collection to ensure the goods are handed over in perfect working condition.

Return and exchanges

Full refunds and exchanges can be made within 7 days of unused product or major manufacturer defect within 24 hours after receiving the product. Thereafter, we shall only provide warranty coverage. There will strictly be no return of goods, refund or exchanges after payment is made. In order to fulfill the return and exchange policy, there shall be no sign of usages or tempering of the product. All products returned for exchange or full refund must be in brand new condition with original packaging. Kernel Scooter shall not bear any transportation costs involved for return and exchanges. There will be a 3% administrative fee imposed for online and card payments.
